Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus

Official Name: Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) since 1983.
Country: Cyprus.
Continent: Asia.
National name: Kuzey Kibris Turk Cumhuriyeti.
Сapital: Lefkosha.
Area: 3800 sq. km.
Population: 200 587 persons in 2001.
Languages: Turkish (local people knows English).
Currency: Turkish lire, US dollar, euro and British pound.
Form of Goverment: Republic.
President: Мehmet Ali Talat.
Religions: Muslim and Orthodox Christians.
Climate: summer is from March till December; January and February are violent spring. The precipitation is greatest from December till February (9-11 rainy days). The summer is hot and dry, but the humidity level is not too high, therefore the heat is tolerated easily. Winters are soft (even in December the temperature of water does not fall below +19 Cº).
