Every year in different parts of Northern Cyprus hosts various festivals. One of them is the International Music Festival in Bellapais. Each year it brings together renowned musicians, artists from all over the world. International Spring Concerts, organized and facilitated by the Friends of Music Association of Northern Cyprus is very popular among fans of classical music. But the most significant event in the musical life of the island is of course the International Festival held annually in the town of Famagusta. In the past, its members and founders were such famous groups as «Aswad» and «Los Paragvauos», as well as the Berlin ensemble.
